The Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Toronto offers the only fully accredited advanced educational graduate program in Pediatric Dentistry in English speaking Canada. This is a three-year comprehensive program leading to the degree of Master of Science in collaboration with the School of Graduate Studies at the University of Toronto. The program includes advanced clinical specialty training in all aspects of pediatric dentistry and a mandatory research program.
The program offers the unique blend of a Faculty and Hospital based program in Pediatric Dentistry. The program is affiliated with the Hospital for Sick Children, Bloorview Kids Rehab and the Mount Sinai Hospital. Residents are assigned for clinical rotations to all of the hospital sites as well as to an inner city public health dental clinic and to the Children's Clinic at the Faculty of Dentistry. In addition to clinical rotations a significant amount of curricular time is allocated for seminars, lectures and research development throughout the three years. The focus is always on resident education.
