As part of this course you’ll:
Follow the NHS four-pillar framework for advanced clinical practitioners: clinical practice, leadership and management, education, and research
Develop the advanced health assessment skills and professional expertise you’ll need to work as an autonomous practitioner
Apply your expert knowledge, complex decision-making skills and clinical reasoning in your clinical setting
Be client-centred and clinically focused in your work
Gain the essential skills you’ll need to work in acute, primary or secondary care settings, or in any organisation where you’ll need advanced diagnostic skills

These courses are intended as guidelines. Speak to your guidance counsellor to see what courses are offered at your school. Applicants should have at least a second class honours degree in the cognate subject of Health. Applicants who do not meet this academic requirement are advised to undertake the Professional Profile Development modules in order to apply for recognition for prior (experiential) learning. You should also have a minimum of 2 years post registration experience and be able to demonstrate through your personal statement that you have developed professionally to a level that prepares you for an advanced clinical role.
