The University of Manitoba and the University of Winnipeg together offer the Joint Master's program, with courses and thesis direction offered at both institutions and graduates receiving a joint parchment. Students may choose to pursue a course-based M.A., a thesis-based M.A., or an Archival Studies M.A. |

Four-year B.A. Honours degree or equivalent in History Reading knowledge of a second language, relative to the candidate’s research program. Candidates who major in Canadian History must display a reading knowledge of French and English. |
