Description:

Given the worldwide trend toward urbanization, the Master of Public Health Program with a concentration in Urban Health recognizes the growing need for professionals trained to respond to unique public health challenges and opportunities facing urban populations. The MPH program brings together interdisciplinary faculty (from the School of Law, School of Business, College of Social Sciences and the Humanities, College of Computer and Information Science, and the College of Health Sciences) with expertise in collaborating with diverse urban populations to provide students with practice-based knowledge, skills, and experience needed to address complex public health problems and advocate for vulnerable populations.

These courses are intended as guidelines. Speak to your guidance counsellor to see what courses are offered at your school.
    To be admitted to the dual-degree program, students must first be admitted to the Northeastern University School of Law. Students should apply online to the School of Law through LSAC. The supplementary application for the MPH program that students complete in the spring of their first Law School year is available at: Northeastern's Graduate Programs Apply Yourself (AY) System. The AY application fee and GRE requirements are waived for JD/MPH students. Applications must be submitted by May 15 for those applying to the dual-degree program.
    Application Notes : English Language Proficiency Proof: students for whom English is not their primary language must submit one of the following: an official associate or bachelor's degree transcript from an accredited college or university in the U.S, stating degree conferral and date, or TOEFL, IELTS, or NU Global Exam scores.
