Students of the Associate of Arts (Business and Psychology) Degree program will gain multi-disciplinary knowledge in the faculties of arts, humanities, and social science, and develop their critical thinking and research skills. The program also includes a customizable joint concentration in business and psychology, which allows students to explore different areas of study in business, including micro/macro economics, labour and managerial economics, banking and finance, accounting, marketing, in conjunction with studies in psychology, including developmental, behavioural, social, and abnormal psychology. Students will learn about the foundations of human behaviour and thinking which impact business decisions, marketing, employment, etc.

Applicants must have successfully completed Secondary Education (12 years, or equivalent); or have mature student status; or post-secondary transfer. Students entering from Grade 12 must have completed BC ENGL 12 with a minimum grade of B, or equivalent. University Transfer students must have at least 9 transferable post-secondary credits, with a cumulative GPA of 1.50 or higher. University transfer applicants with cumulative GPA’s below 1.50 may be admitted provisionally and BC ENGL 12 with a minimum grade of B , English 099 with a minimum grade of C, or equivalent. |
