Start your journey toward a degree in social work at NIC. The Associate of Arts degree with a pre-Social Work focus will enable you to take two years of fully transferable university-level courses at North Island College before applying for 3rd year entry into an accredited BSW program in BC. Social workers are committed to social justice, equity, respect for diversity and critical thinking. They work to advocate for individuals, families, groups and communities to create a more equitable social structure where all people can develop to their full potential. At NIC we are dedicated to these values, and as such, want to support learners seeking a career in the social services sector. |
