Description:

The MSc in Sustainable Engineering Management For International Development is a highly applied course with taught elements and a substantial project deliverable. You will learn to think rapidly and flexibly, acting decisively in the absence of complete information in order to improve quality of life through engineering solutions.

Much of the world still face challenges from extreme poverty to food shortages to manmade climate change and irreversible loss of biodiversity. This course aims to make you part of a new generation of practitioners who can address such challenges through practical engineering solutions which support local communities to build resilience in the face of rapid urbanisation.

Prerequisites:

These courses are intended as guidelines. Speak to your guidance counsellor to see what courses are offered at your school.
Students will be recruited from a range of backgrounds to fulfil specific roles within the project. A minimum of BEng/BSc/BA 2.1 (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline is required, with IELTS 6.5 with 5.5 minimum in each area of assessment (or equivalent SELT).
