Description:

Studying Education and Mathematics at Keele will encourage you to explore the nature of learning and its core elements including policy, teaching and practice. You will delve into the key areas of mathematics, including calculus, algebra and probability, as well as developing a solid foundation in mathematical methods and techniques so you can apply these principles to the real world. You will also have the opportunity to explore various topics in pure mathematics, applied mathematics & statistics. This will ensure your problem solving and abstract reasoning skills are developed to a high level.

Throughout this combined honours programme, you will actively engage with discussions around various topics such as psychological, sociological and cultural influences in education, and consider how these may evolve in the future. You will explore key issues and challenges associated with teaching and learning at different levels, such as primary and secondary.
