English Literature and Psychology at Keele enables you to build key analytical skills in research and analysis, with the ability to present your ideas and findings through various methods, as well as studying works of literature that will help you to develop your critical thinking and your understanding of the society in which we live.
You will explore literature from Shakespeare to the contemporary and examine literature in English from across the world, including Britain, North America and Africa, taking a truly global perspective. You will develop your knowledge and skills to contribute to some of the most crucial debates of our time regarding such issues as decolonisation, sustainability and the environment, gender and sexuality, and political extremism. Taught by expert lecturers in English Literature, you will explore and interpret literary works that will challenge your views, advance your tastes, prompt your creativity, and give you the opportunity to become a versatile graduate. Through a range of activities and assessments, this diverse course will equip you with a vast array of attributes that employers are looking for, including creativity, emotional intelligence, and digital literacy. |
