The expanding amount and availability of human genetic data, together with the application of cutting-edge genomic analysis technologies, is allowing a more detailed understanding of the links between our genes, our susceptibility to disease and our potential responses to specific treatment therapies. This enhanced level of understanding is, in turn, driving the advance in Personalised Medicine, where clinical treatment decisions are becoming more informed to maximise specific patients responses to and benefit from specific therapy regimes. |
