The Department of Curriculum and Instruction offers approved teacher education programs that lead to a Bachelor of Science degree and licensure in the state of Tennessee. An undergraduate major is offered in Elementary Education, and students may choose to take coursework that leads to a dual license in Elementary Education (K-5) as well as PreK-12 English as a Second Language. The Department also offers the courses required for licensure in fields of secondary education and K-12 teacher education at the undergraduate level. |
