Immerse yourself in hands-on creation with our Studio Practice major. We offer classes in drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking, photography, media arts, and digital imaging. You can also choose one of three specializations, including one that will prepare you for a career in education. Through Waterloo's co-op program, you'll earn money, have access to North America's largest selection of co-op jobs, and graduate with up to 2 years of valuable work experience.
Grad requirements for the teaching specialization:
Complete a total of 2.0 units Complete a total of 100 hours of relevant volunteer or paid experience under the supervision of qualified professionals, of which 50 hours must be in the classroom setting.
