Mechanical Engineering Technology will prepare graduates to work in the design and production of high-quality manufactured goods. Topics covered include design, manufacturing methods, quality assurance, equipment selection, computer-aided engineering, building systems design and control, mechanical analysis, computer applications, and supervision and management.
Students will select some specialty electives in their last term. Specialization completes the training by providing deeper insight into areas of technology of interest to the individual. Areas of specialization are selected to help meet the needs of industry. |

- Grade12 Applied Mathematics or Grade12 Precalculus
- Grade12 Chemistry or Grade12 Physics
- Grade12 English
Grade 12 Physics is much more highly recommended than Grade 12 Chemistry as an appropriate background for technology |
