The aim of York's Geographic Information Systems Certificate program is to provide you with applied skills in the areas of computer cartography, statistical analysis, geographic information systems, remote sensing and satellite image image processing to complement the theoretical and conceptual learning of your Bachelor's degree. |
These courses are intended as guidelines. Speak to your guidance counsellor to see what courses are offered at your school. This certificate is open to the following applicants: current York students, or non-York students who already hold a university degree. Our minimum admission requirement is the completion of the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD). Also, one of Canadian and World Studies; Classical Studies and International Languages; French; Mathematics; Social Science and Humanities; or Native Studies. Francophone applicants can present 12 U French. |
