Description:

Our programs provide a rigorous academic environment with strong cross-disciplinary links to support advanced education, research and engineering applications. The PhD program provides an opportunity to pursue specialized research, while the MASc program involves advanced studies in a field of interest, and research and engineering design activities. The MEng program, meanwhile, offers education in design and engineering practice.

    Applicants for admission to Master's Program will: have graduated from a four year accredited undergraduate university program or equivalent; have a minimum of a 3.0/4.33 B standing or equivalent over all courses in the final half of the program; and have demonstrated a capacity to succeed in the Program applied for.
    Test Scores:
    • International English Language Testing System (academic or immigration) [min. 7] or Canadian Academic English Language Assessment [min. 70] or Test of English as a Foreign Language (Internet Based) [min. 93]
    Application Notes : If you have not completed two or more years, full-time, at a Canadian university or a university at which English was the primary language of instruction, or have not completed a graduate degree at a university where English was the primary language of instruction, you will be required to provide certification of English language proficiency through one of the accepted examinations listed below. Scores are valid for two years from the test date. It is important to understand that meeting the minimum English proficiency requirements does not guarantee admission. Programs may set additional requirements to these minimum standards. For exemption from this requirement, applicants are required to provide an official statement from their institutions Registrar's office confirming the use of English as the Medium of Instruction for the duration of their study.
