The Department of Philosophy is home to 18 faculty with a broad range of research areas and a thriving community of 45 Master’s and Doctoral students. Our expertise spans history of philosophy, feminism, ethics, social and political philosophy, philosophy of mind, language, epistemology, metaphysics, and philosophy of science. The PhD is a four-year program and includes course work, a qualifying exam, and completion and defence of a research-based thesis. |
