All returning students are required to pay their regular student fees ($164) in full by June 7, 2017 before registering for their courses. New students are required to pay the $164 in full by June 30, 2017 before they register. Payments may be made in full before registration by cash, debit card, Visa, MasterCard, money order or cheque. Post dated cheques will not be accepted. Any remaining fees (non-resident of Quebec, convocation fees, part time in-program fees, etc…) will be assessed by August 22 and due by September 8, 2017. Late payment fees of $25.00 will be applied to overdue accounts.

Description:

Commerce is a two-year pre-university profile within the Social Science program designed for students interested in studying any commerce-related field (finance, marketing, accounting, human resources, etc.) or any field in the social sciences at university.

This profile is structured so that students take relevant courses in Mathematics and Business Administration while exploring the diversity of the social sciences through the program courses. These courses are central to the development of knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary for future studies and careers. More than 80% of students that graduate from the Commerce Profile will continue their studies at the university level, in commerce and other fields (law, journalism, psychology…).

These courses are intended as guidelines. Speak to your guidance counsellor to see what courses are offered at your school.
    Applicants must have a Diploma of Secondary Studies (DES) or equivalent, including Secondary V Language of Instruction, Secondary V Second Language, Secondary IV Science, Secondary IV Mathematics, Secondary IV History, and Sec V Mathematics – Technical & Scientific option or Science option 564-506 or 565-506. Students with a DES missing any of the above subjects may be admitted, space permitting, but may be required to complete remedial courses.
