The graduate of this course is prepared to work in retail and hospital pharmacy environments. Upon successful completion of the program, the graduate may apply to the Ontario College of Pharmacists to write the Ontario Pharmacy Technician Certification Exam. Career opportunities are also available in the manufacturing and sales sectors, and with environmental and insurance companies. |
These courses are intended as guidelines. Speak to your guidance counsellor to see what courses are offered at your school. Applicants must have completed Grade 12 or equivalent with demonstrated math, English, communication, and comprehension skills. They must satisfy the fitness requirements needed for the practical internship. A negative result for the two-step Mantoux test is also required.
