Students who are 18 years of age or older may complete their high school requirements in the BC Adult Graduation Diploma (BCAGD). The Adult Graduation Diploma (formerly the ABE Provincial Diploma and Adult Dogwood) allows students, as adult learners, to return to and complete the BC Ministry of Education secondary school requirements. This enables students to graduate from Grade 12 in preparation for entry into the workforce, a vocational program or post-secondary studies.
Students must complete 5 High School courses for a total of 20 credits. Of the 5 courses:
- 2 of the 5 can be transferred
- 3 of the 5 must be at the Grade 12 level.

These courses are intended as guidelines. Speak to your guidance counsellor to see what courses are offered at your school. Students are accepted into Grade 10, 11 or 12 of the Senior High School Program based on an evaluation of the official transcripts from their previous school, as well as their English language fluency. |
