The Ottawa-Carleton Chemistry Institute (OCCI) is a joint program of graduate studies and research in chemistry for Carleton University and the University of Ottawa that combines the research strengths and resources of both universities. Carleton University has strong concentrations in Food Science, Analytical Chemistry and Nanoscience. Students enroll at the university where their research supervisor is located. Several graduate students also conduct their research off campus under the supervision of one of the Institute's adjunct professors. |

Additional Admission Requirements: | The normal requirement for admission to the Ph.D. program is an M.Sc. degree in Chemistry. Direct entrance from a B.Sc. degree in Chemistry will be considered in exceptional cases.
