Access Business College offers this exceptionally well designed Graphic and Web Design diploma course program which prepares graduates with print & web design skills and career training in the creation and implementation of computer graphics, creating sophisticated web sites, becoming proficient in digital imaging technology such as Page Layout, Photo Editing and Illustration. This well designed program is to prepare Graphic Designers, Web Designers, and Illustrators with the tools required to take on a wide range of responsibilities and duties to effectively create visually rich design to gain a competitive edge as Visual Artists, Digital Media Artists, Animators, as well as Publishers.

Graphic designers conceptualize and produce graphic art and visual materials to effectively communicate information for publications, advertising, films, packaging, posters, signs and interactive media such as Web sites and CD-ROMs. They are employed by advertising and graphic design firms, by establishments with advertising or communications departments and by multimedia production companies, or they may be self-employed. Graphic designers who are also supervisors, project managers or consultants are included in this unit group. Illustrators conceptualize and create illustrations to represent information through images.

Prerequisites:

    Applicants must have an OSSD (ONTARIO SECONDARY SCHOOL DIPLOMA), or OSSD equivalent. Applicants must also have a mature student status (19 years and older).
    Test Scores:
    • Test of English as a Foreign Language (Computer Based) [min. 200] or Test of English as a Foreign Language (Paper Based) [min. 480] or International English Language Testing System (academic or immigration) [min. 5.0]
    Application Notes : All applicants whose first language is not English must demonstrate competence in the English language proficiency standard, through submission of an official score on written tests (TOEFL or IELTS).
