Canadian Business College’s Early Childcare Assistant (ECA) program provides students with innovative childhood education courses and practical experience - based on current infant and childhood research and practice. CBC’s ECA program focuses on early childhood development, curriculum development, health and safety and the key communication skills needed to effectively work with children, parents and community members.
Students gain practical experience in our practicum under the guidance of qualified early childhood educators. This clinical placement will enable students to explore childcare and learning centres as work environments and develop confidence while practicing teaching and leadership skills. Graduates of our ECA program will be prepared to work in daycare centres, nurseries and early learning centres assisting preschool teachers.
