The triOS College Pharmacy Assistant Diploma Program provides students with the knowledge and skills necessary to start a rewarding career as a Pharmacy Assistant. The Pharmacy Assistant is responsible for receiving prescriptions, drug preparation, clerical and computer duties, inventory management and customer service in the dispensary. Pharmacy Assistants must at all times work directly under the supervision and guidance of the Pharmacist. The role is meant to assist the Pharmacist in the dispensing process of the product to allow the Pharmacist to have more time to provide pharmaceutical care.

These courses are intended as guidelines. Speak to your guidance counsellor to see what courses are offered at your school. High School Graduation Diploma or Mature Student Status (18 years of age and academic achievement test passed). In addition, an entrance assessment must be successfully passed; demonstrated fluency in English (oral and written); Admission Interview to determine suitability for a career as a Pharmacy Assistant.
