The five-year program consists of a Dental Preparatory (Dent-P) year followed by the regular four-year dental program. During the Dent-P year, students are registered in the Faculty of Science and must take courses totaling 30 credits. There are several required courses as well as a number of elective courses selected for the purpose of broadening and enriching their education. |

Overall average, science course average, and individual course marks as well as the Cote de rendement au collégial (Cote R) are used in making the final decisions. A Cote R of 32.000 or higher would be considered competitive.

Dental Aptitude Test (DAT) The Dental Aptitude Test (DAT) is NOT required for entry into the Dent-P program. However, accepted students who have not taken the DAT's will have to do so during their Dent-P year. |
