Description:

Archaeology is the study of past human cultures and societies through the analysis of material remains. It is the interpretation of these artifacts that help us understand our past, allowing us to learn more about ourselves today. As a student of archaeology, you will learn various aspects of archaeological interpretation and have the opportunity to put them into practice in the field and the laboratory. You will have the chance to combine the theoretical and methodological approaches of each discipline to give you a balanced and in-depth look at the subject.

Prerequisites:

These courses are intended as guidelines. Speak to your guidance counsellor to see what courses are offered at your school.
    Applicants normally must meet the following requirements:



    - Hold an undergraduate degree in a related discipline

    - Have a minimum grade point average of 3.00 (based on the uLethbridge 4.00 scale) on the last 20 graded university-level term courses.

    - Demonstrate English language proficiency (ELP) for graduate student
