Geomatics Technology Competencies are more advanced courses in which the Generic Competencies are used together in specific problem oriented contexts of application and design. These include route design, terrain interpretation, town planning, photogrammetry, cartography, geographical information systems, theory and use of instruments, advanced survey computations, astronomy, control surveys, and legal surveys. An applied research project is incorporated into final term courses. |

To apply to this program, you must have successfully completed the first year of the Civil Engineering Technology program with a minimum GPA of 2.0, and a minimum letter grade 'C' in Surveying 2 CIVL-2026. |
