The School of Critical and Creative Studies (SCCS) teaches historical, critical, and methodological perspectives on the study of art, craft, and design. It provides students with the historical and contemporary critical contexts they need to build an informed and critical practice.
Comics minor
Comics, or storytelling through words and images in sequence, has grown beyond fiction and autobiography to include applications in fields as diverse as journalism, law, medicine and archaeology. Through the Comics minor, the history and critical study of comics will serve students whose practice includes communicating critically through sequential combinations of word and image. |
