At Western, multidisciplinary skills are developed in the field and the laboratory, as well as through theory and computation. This broad approach will give you the skills to meet emerging challenges in the responsible development of mineral, energy and water resources, addressing climate change, mitigating natural hazards like earthquakes, volcanoes and meteorite impacts, and understanding deep time, the evolution of life and mass extinctions.
