The goal of the English for Personal and Professional Communication (EPPC) program is to prepare students to read, write, speak, and listen to English well enough to succeed in professional, academic, or business environments where English is used as the medium of communication. During the program students will discuss current events, listen to guest speakers, practice slang and idioms, meet and interview Canadians, practice for examinations like the TOEIC test, give oral presentations, learn new vocabulary, listen to audio-and videotapes, improve their pronunciation and grammar, experience Canadian culture, and participate in organized excursions.
The EPPC program focuses on helping students develop stronger listening and speaking skills, as well as improving their reading, writing, and use of English grammar. |
