The objective of our teacher training program is to provide trainees with the skills and knowlege to become successful as ESL/EFL teachers. It is designed to help both prospective teachers and also experienced teachers. Greystone College's 360 hour TESOL Program is recognized as Level 2 by TESL Canada. With an undergraduate degree (as recognized by Canadian standards) and your Greystone Diploma, you may apply for a Professional Certificate: Standard Two from TESL Canada. |
These courses are intended as guidelines. Speak to your guidance counsellor to see what courses are offered at your school. Students who are interested in attending Greystone College must be 18 years of age or older, and have completed Grade 12. International students must demonstrate a high intermediate level of English by completing our on-line assessment test and an arranged speaking interview. The interview may be done by phone. The assessment test is not required if students present test scores of at least TOEFL 535, iBT 70, or IELTS 5.5 or if students have achieved Intermediate Level 4 at International Language Schools of Canada. |
