Description:

Applied Software Development, ASD is aimed at three audiences: New students who want to learn programming languages, those who are moving on to the Computer Systems Certificate, and Legacy programmers who need new languages and environments.

This goal of ASD is to develop software applications to industry standards.

Prerequisites:

These courses are intended as guidelines. Speak to your guidance counsellor to see what courses are offered at your school.
  •  Grade12 English 
  •  Grade12 Mathematics 
Applicants must have a Applied Computer Information Systems (ACIS) - Associate Certificate (simultaneous) or COMP 1002 and COMP 1200, or equivalent knowledge, an understanding of PC use, file management and basic applications. Each course also has prerequisites.
