This program will entail a program orientation, and the following courses: the role of the childcare worker, introduction to technology, child development, observation skills, guiding children, program planning, children and technology, communication skills, health and safety, nutrition, and first aid and CPR. There will also be a clinical or work placement. |

Ontario Grade 12 and equivalent or Mature Student (19 years of age or older and out of school for 1 year or more); Fluency in english; Fitness to complete the clinical placment; Provide police check (Clearence) OF Criminal Record. |
