This program provides knowledge and skill development in providing professional nursing care independently or as a member of a health care team. Practical nurses provide nursing care in settings such as patients’ homes, acute care hospitals, rehabilitation hospitals, medical centres and extended care facilities. This program is provincially accredited and graduates receive dual certification from Dumont Technical Institute and SIAST. |
