These courses are intended as guidelines. Speak to your guidance counsellor to see what courses are offered at your school. To be eligible, you must be between the ages of 16 and 65, have an identified and diagnosed mental health issue that prohibits participation in "mainstream" programming, have no recent history of conduct, or presenting actions, which pose a threat to the safety and well-being of others, be free of substance addictions, have a sufficient oral understanding of English which will allow full participation, have the motivation and commitment to achieve positive outcomes as demonstrated by punctuality and follow-through and identify community health supports who can be contacted in case of emergency. |
