Graduates of the Personal Care Aide program are prepared to handle home, long-term, and acute care responsibilities in a secure, respectful, and compassionate mannner. Course delivery is by classroom theory, laboratory, and clinical experiences. Emphasis is on developing interpersonal and therapeutic communications,
basic nursing skills, safety, and hands-on application of knowledge. |
