Community Support Workers perform many duties to assist clients with personal and social problems. They may also organize and implement a variety of community programs and services. Individuals in this role may be responsible for preparing intake reports, referring clients to other social services, admitting clients to appropriate programs, and meeting with clients to evaluate treatments/plans and progress. This program provides the tools to assist people in the community. Areas of study include addictions, psychology, sociology, mental health, Canadian family dynamic, professional skills, counselling and interviewing techniques, development, business communications and report writing.

Minimum of a Canadian high school grade 12 or equivalent high school transcript to be provided (if under the age of 19), or a mature student (certified that the student is 19 years of age or over and has not attended high school in the last twelve months)
