For three semesters, you will study computer programming, systems analysis and other aspects of information systems. The program is structured so students can complete the regular profile at the end of third semester. Due to demanding nature of this program, a strong commitment is required.
The program produces a graduate who enters the business community as a valuable member of an information-systems team, generally at the junior level or maintenance programmer level. You may work in government, industry, and large or small firms. Banking, financial institutions, insurance, manufacturing, distribution, retailing, the service sector, or any of the Fortune 500 Companies where AS400 is the computer of choice. Opportunities for advancement in this field are excellent; particularly if additional courses are taken to maintain an edge in this exciting and changing field of the mid range and main frame computers. |
