University 1 is a unique approach to first year university studies that gives students the opportunity to design an individualized first year schedule that allows them to meet the admission, and/or first year requirements, of one or more target degree programs. University 1 Registration Assistants and Academic Advisors also provide students with specialized support and guidance in making decisions about course selection and degree planning, in adjusting to university life and academic expectations, and in building the necessary skills to achieve academic and personal success. |

These courses are intended as guidelines. Speak to your guidance counsellor to see what courses are offered at your school. High school graduation including 5 full credits at the Grade 12 level.
A minimum average of 70% over the following, with no less than 60% in each course:
1. English or first language literature
2. Mathematics
3. Two academic senior level courses |
