Description:

Niagara-on-the-Lake Culinary School offers a two-year internship-based Hospitality Management diploma program in conjunction with the American Hotel and Lodging Associations Educational Institute.

The program includes two six-month paid internships with a deluxe hotel or restaurant, which gives students the opportunity to apply skills in the real world. The two six-month in-school programs cover the following: front office management, supervision in the hospitality industry, planning and organization in the housekeeping department, hospitality today, food preparation, food and beverage service, marketing hospitality services, basic hotel and restaurant accounting, hospitality facilities design, financial accounting, hospitality human resource management, food and beverage management, hospitality sales and marketing, hospitality law, hospitality computer systems, and training and development in the hospitality industry.
