The Automotive Technician process requires time spent on the job and in-school training. An Automotive Technician trainee must complete a four-year program including 6,360 workplace hours and 840 in-school hours of training. After completion of training, a passing grade on inter-provincial exams will result in the BC Certificate of Apprenticeship and the Certificate of Qualification, with Red Seal Inter-provincial Certification. |
