With the Joint program in Paramedicine between UTSC and Centennial College, students will supplement an academic grounding in the Sciences with the practical knowledge and skills required for this demanding and highly specialized field. This program provides an ideal opportunity for a rewarding career as a Paramedic - a professional in the health sciences/medical field. It combines the academic aspects of University study with the practical aspects of College study.
The Honours B.Sc. degree program from University of Toronto leads to qualification for the Paramedic diploma from Centennial College of applied arts & technology. With this students become eligible to take the Ministry of Health Emergency Care Medical Attendant exams required to qualify as a paramedic. This challenging program combines theory, laboratory work and extensive practical field experience.
