The goal of the Three-Year Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science concentrations in General Studies is to develop and encourage critical thinking and problem-solving skills as students explore a variety of academic subjects. The BA in General Studies offers the student a wide selection of courses in Arts, Humanities, and the Social Sciences, including a second language. The program allows independent selection of courses based on the student’s interest and have the potential for broad interdisciplinary study, with a specialization in two to three areas. These programs promote the development of knowledge that lies on the points of intersection of disciplines and therefore provides the opportunity to bridge gaps created by overspecialization. |
