A health profession, which uses radioactive tracers, called radiopharmaceuticals, to evaluate organ function and to investigate and/or treat disease. A nuclear medicine technologist is able to produce and evaluate images and related data that are used by specialized physicians and to render a medical diagnosis.
Those who graduate from the post-diploma program are eligible for a special program that allows students to obtain their Bachelor of Health Sciences. |
