This career training diploma program is designed to provide students with a comprehensive introduction to the many entities that make up the hospitality industry, as well as an overview of today’s hot issues, including ethical challenges and management concerns. Every hospitality student needs to have a strong grounding in the art of guest service as the foundation for all of their hospitality knowledge and skills. Students will learn about the complex interrelationships involved in the hospitality business and discover the variety of available career opportunities.
The program also provides students with a comprehensive overview of a hotel’s front office and the role it plays in create memorable guest experiences. Students will learn how the front office interacts with other departments, strategies for keeping the front desk profitable, and how social networking affects front office operations. |
