The increasing use of computerized medical records systems and billing systems and of other office equipment technology in medical offices and clinics has created a demand for qualified medical office assistants and medical secretaries.
The program includes training in general office and computer skills, medical terminology, medical transcription and medical office procedures (administrative and clinical). The program also includes a clinical placement in an appropriate health related work setting. |
