For persons who intend to seek employment with major police agencies across Canada, this program will you with top quality, practical training in order to increase your chances of being hired in a very competitive market. Graduates of the Academy are employed in police and law enforcement agencies throughout Canada, including the RCMP, Ontario Provincial Police and many large city police services.
The Diploma Program was originally designed as a two-year program, with more instructional hours than a three-year university program. To facilitate students graduating in a shorter time period, the program has been compressed to less than seven months without reducing the quality or instruction. The long summer break and spring break of the traditional university has been eliminated so that students can graduate and obtain law enforcement employment as soon as possible. |
