The Master's in Counselling Psychology assists students in developing the knowledge, skills, and understanding necessary to work as professional counsellors in a wide variety of settings. Our programs are characterized by small classes, ongoing contact with a program supervisor, and a focus on the practicum/internship component of counsellor preparation. Students may focus on one or more of the following areas: trauma, school/higher education counselling, Aboriginal counselling, addictions, and diversity. |

Candidates must have an acceptable Bachelor's degree or equivalent from an academic institution recognized by the University of Victoria. Normally, a 'B+' average in the last two years of the Bachelor's degree. A significant number of counselling-related hours that are documented in a résumé and field experience chart(s). |
