The Department of Sociology offers a doctoral program with three disciplinary areas: health and aging, social inequality, and political sociology and social movements. Students may choose to participate in the co-operative education program. |

Admission to the Ph.D. program normally requires a master’s degree in Sociology or a related social science discipline with a minimum average of 7.0 to 7.5 (A- to A) in graduate courses. |
