The goals of the Advanced Practice Leadership (APL) option are to prepare nurses with a dual focus on advanced practice and nursing leadership to fill roles in primary care, acute care, and/or community care. The Master of Nursing - Advanced Practice Leadership option is practice-oriented and theory-based, intended to prepare nurses as clinical nurse specialists for a wide variety of advanced practice roles. The Advanced Practice Leadership option is delivered online through a variety of distance learning formats, primarily web-based asynchronous learning tools which make time zone differences less of a concern. |
