Description:

This advanced level program provides individuals with the knowledge and techniques to improve the delivery and quality of manufactured goods and services. The material that is taught in this program can be applied within any area of an organization and the focus is on the achievement of performance excellence in manufacturing and business processes through the use of modern quality improvement methods.

This program would be of interest to Supervisors/Engineers/Technologists who wish to broaden or upgrade their skill sets. Individuals who are looking to transfer from a specific industry or sector would benefit from this program. Individuals who have automotive experience and would like to make a career change from that sector would benefit from this program. This program will provide the knowledge necessary to write the American Society for Quality Control Examinations for CQI (Certified Quality Inspector) CQT (Certified Quality Technician) as well as Lean Six Sigma Green Belt. This program will be non-industry specific. Although the program includes skills training that recognizes the needs of the traditional manufacturing base it also provides the proficiencies demanded by many of the newer technology focused industries.

Quality professionals (junior engineers or experienced inspectors) that want to upgrade skills and increase their knowledge without going through the 'American Society of Quality' or taking part-time programs, would benefit from this program. On completion of the program, the graduate will be able to apply the proper techniques and procedures to solve problems related to the quality of goods, eliminate waste and effect significant reductions in process performance.
